    RIP Phantomman

Received an e mail from Roger?s daughter yesterday with the news. A really knowledgeable guy, and I always enjoyed visiting with him. He lost his wife a few years ago, and the last we talked he had lost interest in most everything. I built a5E3 for him a couple of years back, and really enjoyed hearing him wring it out!

I am so sorry to hear this. This is the first time I've logged in in quite a while....and that's the first thing that I saw.

Roger was good people, knowledgeable and just a damn fine American. He will be missed.

Very sorry to hear this. I also got a copy of the email from Roger's daughter.

I've known Roger since 31 Dec 2012 when he replied to an question from me on the old Fender forum. We had over 600 emails between us since that time and his vast knowledge of everything and expert use of the language never failed to amaze me. I regret that I was never able to visit him personally.

    He will be greatly missed.

    Very sorry to hear that.

IMHO he was never the same after his wife passed away.

    RIP.
