My ex wife met a guy online and only knew him through chat rooms for about a year. He proposed to her before he ever met her. Good news for me! She said yes, they got married and she move 3000+ miles away!

Yes, many people are and they all voted for the same guy, lol!

Wow, two AI bots in one thread in one day. They’re getting smarter! The topic they chose today is quite ironic!
Let’s let them talk a bit and see where they take it.
Another nope

dudes, I think you're teaching Skynet. You know this can only end badly
"Live and learn and flip the burns"
Posting from the same IP address with slightly different email addresses and being able to respond to posts of each other AND regular users... that actually was pretty sophisticated. Kudos, botnet.
... and I keep falling for it...

Don't feel bad. I initially ignored the OP because "his" post didn't have a nasty porn-link, so I thought it was just some odd bit of philosophy about our modern world. It was only once I saw the "other person" replying with the porn link that I realized what was up.
I often respond with nonsense because it's fun just to go totally off the wall.
Take "nope" for instance. "Nope" is a word which denotes the negation of a topic or action. It is both a useful word and a sign of diisrespect. "Nope" is not a formal word. You wouldn't use it in a formal situation in which you're expected to leave slang at the door. It is a negation that you usually say to relatives or folks you know in informal settings, NOT TO PEOPLE YOU ARE BEGINNING TO KNOW. It can also connote refusal and stubbornness.
Sir, I'm not ready for the familiarity that your "Nope" implies. I take years to make my friends, and when I do, they are friends for life. Only then will I accept "nah" or "nope", certainly not from an acquaintance who negates the entirety of human experience with four ugly letters.
You, sir, are not Bartleby the Scrivener. You do not have the weight to say, "I prefer not to"--that is equal to your unearned nope.

Seems like once again I'm late to the party.
Not sorry.

Unfortunately we are all teaching this AI bot to converse in written English. Someday, we may not be able to distinguish it from a real person. Skynet reference is bang on.
if you want to respond, use jibberish or something completely out of context. Like Sears catalog narrative circa 1976.
BTW - the “nope” are pc’s edits as a mod- deleting the OP comment. Probably best to nuke these threads altogether.
Remember last year we were getting all those posts about North American universities mixed in with Chinese characters? That was interesting.
I will
