Sunday mawning last one before autumnal equinox

Technically the last sunday of summer, the equinox is the 23rd. Almost on cue cooler weather seems to be arriving although we're already off to a warm start. Just refreshed my first cup of coffee, after cleaning up the kitchen.

Almost stepped in a hairball this morning, poor kitty is shedding his medium length fur coat and preparing for winter. Glad I don't have to give myself a tongue bath multiple times every day. I just do it once a week whether I need it or not.

got an invite to go grill foods and watch football. might be doing that, bring a guitar and amp, maybe get a little jamming in.

Re: Sunday mawning last one before autumnal equinox

Sunday Morning, a lot going through my head -

I lost a good friend last night, was planning on going up to see her today, and time ran out. I am heartbroken, feeling guilty and at the same time so glad she isn't suffering anymore.

I worked our big blues fest we spent all year planning, setting up and working on. I feel guilty I worked it, played in on part of it, but at the same time believe that living is as much a part of life and she would agree.

That said, this is one of the pictures of that show, and I am putting it up with mixed emotions.

I don't know if you can tell, but thats me on the right having fun with some friends!

sorry to hear about your friend.

an old neighborhood friend of mine died earlier this year. He had been living on the other side of the state as far as I knew, we last talked probably well over 15 years ago. No animosities, just friends who moved in different ways through life and didn't keep in touch because we didn't really have anything in common anymore once proximity was gone. I don't know if he had moved back after his dad passed but it was just a few months after seeing that obit when I saw his obit. Complications of diabetes which he had since childhood. The obit said he was living in town when he passed. I had no idea he was in town or that he was in bad health.

    Kenny, hang in there.

Today was the annual reunion picnic at the rehab facility the Mrs. stayed at last winter. it was nice to see so many people celebrating life, recovery and redemption in a really beautiful place. Now I have to clean out the console, glovebox and trunk on the Crossfire as I prepare to celebrate a new car...

Kenny, I'm sorry you lost somebody, and she must have been a really good person for her death to affect you.
