    RIP Gary Richrath

    Sad loss. If you scroll down on this link, you'll see his last performance with REO. He looks really in bad physical shape. Sad.

    The years don't seem to have treated Gary well -- I think he'd been suffering from a couple of different ailments for several years. He was one of my major guitar influences and I'll miss him.

    Boy, did he look terrible.

    But he still could play.

    Who was that band? It wasn't the reconstituted REO 'cause I saw them this summer and they kicked ass with Dave Amato on lead guitar...
