I turned 40 back on March 14, and spent it in Memphis getting hammered and then visiting the Gibson Factory with a mild hangover.
playing more than I ever have, lately. good deal.
This question will probably get me kicked off the LPF {for lack of basic knowledge}, but Gibson is now conducting tours in Memphis? About four years ago, I called Gibson while visiting Nashville. They were very tight-lipped about just where their factory was located, but tours were definitely not being conducted (that was all I needed to know).Originally posted by jmp2204

45, but feel 35 and act 25
Ok, I was doin'g some gravedigging (I love to do that) and found a few threads like this one, from years ago.
So many cool members, I wonder how many of them would be glad to be here again...
Mod staff: is there a way of PMing like all members at a time saying something like "hello, the site is back on its feet, just so you know" or whatever?
a fifteen year old thread? Are you kidding me
15 years ago, I was 39. So do I mention here now that I'm 39 or 54? Or do I give my age when I first joined the forum in 2008? In that case, I was 46.
I mean, hell, Serge, if you're going to bring up an old thread, don't confuse me... :)

I'm 35. With 30 years of experience!
I was 35 when this thread was started!
I had been a pro musician for 41 years when this thread started and I'm still occasionally playing rock.
