Here's my '69 Custom Tele. I finally put the old bridge back on (it had a 6 piece stainless bridge when I bought it, and I never bothered to put the original back on). Bring on some pics of your fav:

And Curt... Lord I love that guitar of yours!
Did you have to do any mods for those fontana saddles? Big tone difference? I have the same tele and was thinking of doing the same thing.
Do the Fontanas fit a standard MIM tele?
Guys let me tell you these saddles make a world of a difference from the standard saddles, to me a tele isn't complete without a 3 barrell type. Larry's saddles need no mods they just fit in the holes from the previous saddles. Definitely pick up a set its easily the best mod I have done to my fat tele

Thanks, Jack. You're welcome to come on by and play it whenever you want. I'll tell the missuss to throw another steak on the grill and we'll put some Yengling Lagers in a bucket of ice!
Bluesgtr20 is speaking the truth on those Fontana saddles. You'll never do anything to any guitar with a better bang-for-buck ratio.
I don't know if Larry makes something for a MIM Tele. These things are specifically made for a Tele bridge with offset intonation screws. You might try dropping him a line directly. Lovely guy: lfontana@rochester.rr.com
Mmm, Yengling. Even better than the I.C. Light I grew up on.Originally posted by curtisstetka

Sadly, though, both are now impossible to come by now that I'm in Ohio (raised in Western PA). I make do with Rolling Rock, but as you know, it ain't the same!
No, it sure ain't. Sorry to hear it, Jack. I grew up with Yengling like it was mama's milk. There's a place down the street from me that taps tall ones for $1 apiece. Some of the firehalls around here are serving it up at $.25 a glass. Cheap AND tasty suds!
