Anyone compare the Vox Valvetronics and the Fender CD?

I'm going to upgrade my Cyber Champ and have been considering the Vox AD60VT and the CD as two of the non-tube amps I would purchase. I thought the Vox sounded great, but I'm concerned about the warranty, of lack of. It's only 12 months and I've read some reviews of breakdowns and cheap boards, etc.

I was wondering if you guys have any opinions on my "fear" of a dead amp $600 door stop, or am I just being paranoid.

The CD also seems very good, has the 5 year warranty, and is midi compatible.

Fell free to let the opinions roll.

All Cyber amps make great doorstops...so don't worry about it. $600 is a cheap doorstop...some Cyber amps cost more!

No problems with my Valvetronix 120, and the Fender Cyber series are unusable at gig levels.

The Vox is the only modelling amp worth a crap. If it doesn't suit your needs, go tube. But given your earlier post, I still think the 60W Vox would be ideal for you.
Everyone sings about Memphis, but no one ever does anything about it.
