So i was just told this guitar i bought 2 days ago is a USA Hot Rodded American Series guitar, From 2000/2001.... but it has the CMDaughtery Hand wound forerunner to the Dive Bomber pickups, derived from the john mayer big dippers pickups, i think its way better than the texas specials which i had in a fender japan strat, very happy

Cool. The ASe's of that vintage are some of my favorite USA Stratocasters. They were extremely well built.
