    Happy Weekend Muso Warrior Time!

I know it's not Sunday, but what's your music day look like?

I plan on doing maintenance and cleaning first. Then I need to set up the Tele, play afterwards. Going to get into chord theory today. Need a different way of thinking about chords and try to better understand relationships between chords etc. I know a lot, not a newbie, and what I know has come from intuition and discovery. I've realized that I'm a good lead player, not a great one. But I am a very good rhythm player who wants to expand his understanding and to apply it to the geetbox.

Not much time for music this weekend. My daughter and her son are moving back in for a while and we needed space so last week I spent my summer vacation cleaning out the basement (see attached phtot). Now It's on to the giving the garage a mass cleaning!

Boys, boys. My to-do list is on a long scroll. But remember to do stuff for pleasure too, whatever that is.

It won't be much of a music day for me. I just put new carburetor boots on my daughter's boyfriend's '96 Yamaha Virago 1100 and later we're going to modify the rear end of my son's SBC V8 powered Volvo 740 so that it'll lock above 25mph.

If I have time after that I'll repair the wiring for the left front turn signal in my 1997 Miata- there's a short somewhere that blows a fuse. I have it "bypassed" at the moment.

Then there's the pump on the hot tub and a slow toilet...

It's been shitty/pissy weather here all week but I was hoping it would clear up today so I could take the Chevelle out for a spin. I get cranky if I don't get my weekly fix of high-test gas fumes. Anyway, I've got a few indoor honey-do's to keep me busy for the afternoon. Perhaps mañana I'll have the opportunity to pull some G's......
