Killing birds with stones -- New Score and a Nice Trip

Both the concept and expression "killing two birds with one stone" has always appealed to me.
I'm a multi-tasker when possible. For instance, I love formulating a loop to get multiple errands
done as efficiently (quickly) as possible.

SO -- on Saturday the 4th, I was killing birds with stones big time. I live in downtown Chicago.
A lady in Richmond, IL (about 60 miles NW, up near the Wisconsin border) had a little SS Yamaha
from the early 80's for sale for peanuts on Craigslist. I decided to ride the motorcycle up there
early Saturday morning before it got hot. I had an excellent ride up along the shore of Lake
Michigan, and scored a really good score.

This thing's going to be a little screamer with a single 6V6 in it. Reminds me of Roger's porch weasel scenario..

Congrats. That's a nice little amp.

Nice, my favorite around the house amp is a 60's Airline, SE 6V6.

Thanks for the response, Bill -- I already built a 5F2a, so I'll
be looking to rock a choice variation on the 6V6 Se theme..

I saw one of these on CL and thought it looked cool but had no idea it was that small!
