And, you may have thought Gibson's Min-ETune was bad!

    Enter, the Chord Buddy.

Push a button and it'll do the whole chord for you!

(But, it only does C, D, G, and E minor.)

I have a friend who works in a local music store and he says these things are selling like crazy since they appeared on Shark Tank.

    What's next......an "auto-strummer"?

Some of the new technology is brilliant, some meh. I am not a total dino, but I think there'll be a place for real guitars for a long time, until a future Beatles comes along playing only computers. I know there are bands playing only computer stuff, but so far, no Beatles, Elvis, or Michael Jackson has come along to totally kill guitars as The Beatles almost did to string and horn groups.

Looks like it would appeal to the Guitar Hero colored button crowd.
Hopefully, it will inspire people to play with their actual fingers on the strings.

I'm supportive of anything that helps people enjoy making music.

If one kid gets turned on to being a musician because of it, I say it's good.

You never know, it might give some folks the guitar bug. I would think being restricted to four chords would get old fast, and people might want to step up to learning new ones.

This was on Shark Tank? Variations on this hunk-o-junk have been around for a couple decades at least.
