I recently got a Fulltone '69 fuzz pedal. I love the pedal...except that every time I kick it on there's a me to moderate volume loss, depending on the situation. Any idea what might be causing this?

I'll isolate it from any other pedals and see if it acts up on it's own. If not, then one at a time I'll test one pedal with the one I'm having issues with until I find (sometimes) which pedal combination is amiss. Some pedal circuits are just finicky and such. Some pedals react to another in strange ways too. You may find that it drops all on it's own, or in combination with one or more on your board too. And how they're lined up on the board have proven to cause drops or boosts and hums that can be relieved by moving them about in different series. Got a tremolo pedal that sounds great, but even alone with no other pedal present, when kicked in it'll boost the volume of the signal. And it's not just a subtle boost either, it's a genuine bump up in the sound. I cannot find further why it does this. Must simply be in it's circuitry but I'm not going to kill myself trying to dig into that p/c board. My eyes ain't that great anymore and my hands are no longer steady enough to work on it. I learned to live with it when I use it. I know this was not a great help, but testing it one at a time with others and alone may at least give you a possible clue. I hope...

I have to crank the volume all the way to make the volume loss halfway acceptable. If I set the volume at noon you'd barely hear it. I'll play around with it in where it's at and if I'm still having problems I'll check in with Fulltone.
