American Necks and Bodies. All match up?

I may have an opportunity to pick up a light weight Eric Johnson body and I'm wondering if my American Standard neck from '09 will fit right it?

Outside of some very minor adjustments, shouldn't all USA Bodies fit all USA Necks? I think so, in the modern age, they used to.

Should bolt right on. You may need to give it a yank left or right, and possibly a shim to get things "right". But other than that, you're golden. All the necks and bodies are cut on the same CNC machines.

The 22nd fret overhang on the Am. Std. neck should not be an issue.

Just be sure that the underside of the overhang does not contact the face of the pickguard before you tighten the neck mounting screws.

    Thanks.
Good point. I'll be sure to check for that.

    OK.
How about the 6 bridge set screws?
Can I drop a Fender 57/62 AVRI Trem / Bridge unit in the EJ ?

I assume so. (don't want any small surprises after the purchase. )

Roger that! I screwed up the best guitar ever by thinking there was "plenty of room." I was wrong.

I believe so. Look at Callaham's site. He might mention the EJ.
