    Babicz Full Contact bridge?

Just wondering if anyone here has seen or tried the Babicz Full Contact Tele bridge. You can see them on youtube or at fullcontacthardware.com.

Just check out the site, Looks like well built stuff. I dunno if I could bring myself to change out my Tele bridge I think its the soul of the Tele sound.

Babicz moved some of their operation to my town, and I wanted to try them out... but repeated e-mails to the company went unanswered. I suspect the concept (like most silly "tone breakthroughs") is bunk, and the lack of response from the company did nothing to change my mind.

I agree on changing but it would be nice to have saddles that don't move around.

It seems to me there are many applications where you don't necessarily want all that much sustain. It just seems that somehow electric guitar players have managed to struggle through with the horrible sounds they've gotten out of their equipment.

I'm not saying innovation is bad and we should all just be happy with designs that are 50+ years old. But, I think that if something like this saddle is an improvement, that's entirely subjective. To some it's an improvement, to others not.

Well I ordered the Babicz saddles and sent them back the next day. They looked ok but they felt like plastic they were so light. I can't believe how cheap made these saddles seemed. Soft aluminum is what they are made of and made in Taiwan. I don't mean to bash Babicz saddles but for what they cost I expected better.

Did you actually install them and get to evaluate their sonic impact?

I guess you'll never be able to attain this.

His continually adjustable neck idea seems like it might actually have practical benefits.

That adjustable neck is kinda neat.
