Well, sort of - I've got a set of Custom Shop 50's in it now (pics show a Super D S in the bridge and a YJM neck). Cranking through my Class 5 and a bevy of grit pedals.
Around 1/2 volume on the Class 5 with an old MXR Distortion + or a Plexitube set to dark and I was getting some great clangy crunch sounds - roll the volume back and clean it up.
Then I had to wick up the volume on the Class 5 and just wail away like that (actually about 3/4 Vol sounds best on the Class 5 to my ears with the Strat).
Its an ridiculously light ash Warmoth body with a Fender MIJ 54 RI neck that's been refretted with some man-sized frets. Always love the feel of the neck but not the Foto-Flambe body it came on or the tiny tinnys.
Ah well, the pics of my upstate home have me looking forward to summer.
