My tele project. Squier Vintage Modified upgrade time!

I have in my possession, and in my guitar, a Callaham Vintage Tele bridge, a Duncan Broadcaster pickup in the bridge, and a Duncan Antiquity Chrome bucker neck. The pickguard is a single ply black matte from Warmoth, and with that aged old Antiquity, it looks so amazing...

A good friend decided to use an Acme Guitar Works gift card on me, since his guitar is just the way he wanted it...

Now, of course, on to the pics!

    The start:

And this is the box o' goodies!

Comparison of the old bridge and new (Callaham on the right, obviously!)

    And build progress:

And here's temporary with the mini-bucker it came with until the pickguard comes!

But then I found in the guts of an old amp (wired as a death cap, so it's loss to the amp was no real loss) a Bumblebee cap. So I figured I'd give it a try!

    Nice project!

How can I get my wife to understand, that, to me, spending a week doing that would be a perfect vacation!

I had no idea there were any stock Teles with that 6-saddle box bridge.

Was that Duncan designed mini crap, or was the upgrade just a matter of preference?
