    over a phone?

    is this a mass-hole?

    Oct 8, 5:55 PM (ET)

FALMOUTH, Mass. (AP) - Authorities said an angry Falmouth teen kicked his mother in the throat, head-butted his brother and punched and bit his father after his mom took away his cell phone to punish him. The Cape Cod Times reported that Brandon Turner pleaded not guilty in Falmouth District Court on Thursday to charges that include assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

Police said his mother took away his cell phone after he hit his 15-year-old brother Tuesday. The next day, an angry Turner attacked members of his family.

The father, a corrections officer, had to use handcuffs to subdue his 18-year-old son. Police were forced to use leg shackles to get him under control.

He was held on $1,000 bail.

It was not immediately clear if Turner has legal representation.

He's lucky he doesn't have to ask his dad to pay for it!

It's hard to see a teenager today who isn't (1)texting (2) connected to an ipod like a life support system (3) talking on a cell phone (4)sometimes a combination of 1,2,and 3.
Maybe if I were a teen now,it would be the same-------but from this angle,it's a pitifully shallow electronic existence.

If you kick your mother in the throat and go crazy, shouldn't bail be a little more than $1,000. This jerk needs some serious long-term help, after a long period of jail time.

Or being a Mass-hole. That's a seriously screwed up kid.

Unfortunately, it's all too common these days.

    Time to cut jr. loose.

Maybe dad can take him to work... and leave him there. Or down to the local recruiter. Got some guys in Afghanistan you can be mad at, hell, you can even shoot at them if you want to. We'll give you the bullets. Just keep that weapon pointed down-range.

djinn1973 has it right. This has nothing to do with a cel phone. Jr.'s just out of control.
