This is making me really want to drop the hammer on an order for this set.

I've got a set of Don's "Hot Bakelite" on order (6 week wait agghhh!). 6.7k A3 bridge paired with his standard 6.1k A5 neck. Awesome pickups man, can't wait to hear this A3 rock. I'm hearing more and more about A3 tele pickups and how they sing.
But not just any A3 PUs. They have to be done right. Trust me.
And if anyone can do them "right", Don's the goto man.
That guy on youtube is one sweet player. What a sense of melody. I am sure the pickups are wonderful but to sound like that, you really have to know and love music, not just gear.

Yeah, Doc, that guy's excellent. I thought "I'll bet he's a big Knopfler fan"...then I noticed his one other video is of him playing the solo from Sultans of Swing.

He does a beautiful job; sounds just like the record until he starts improvising...and then it merely sounds excellent.![]()
Brett's been loafing for the last 6 months.

That guys tone is great and the smoothness of his playing
is what most guitar players strive for,I also like the color of his strat.
he could probably make a teisco sound almost as good..
deffinate hats off to the man, that is one of the hardest tunes I ever attempted to learn. Timing has to be perfect or it loses all its luster.
