    the tres cool looper.

i will post pics tomorrow of this beast, but here's what it is: basically the same as my two looper, but instead of A/B, it's A/B but loop B has B/C in it. does that makes sense. my buddy chris uses either an SD1 or TS9 for his leads, and a box of rock for his rhythm. so loop a will be his box of rock, and then for leads he can select either the sd1 or ts9. i don't think everyone would want something like this, but it's gonna be the cat's meow for chris. plus it's peach colored!

as promised, but it seems like i'm just typing in the breeze here.

and yes, the led bezels are off a little. i also have to order some more superbrights. i don't have enough colors to make it make any sense.

Very cool Chuck. I just don't have much use for one, if I'm only using a pedal or two.

exactly, and this one is a weirdo. that pedal should be there today right? you'll want to source out a high gain transistor, the one in there right now is on the cool side.

I think the Feds say Monday. I'm pretty psyched.

thanks jeru. i drew the schem out on a napkin. chris was using his old two looper and then putting the sd1 and ts9 in the same loop but then having to remember to flip them if he wanted the other lead tone. basically defeating the purpose of what we set out to do. if it continues on this way i'll be building a bradshaw here in about 3 months. LOL

    update:

after a couple failed attempts with routing power for the LEDs i had to figure out a way to build power supply so that each of the three power runs were isolated from eachother. i was running into problems with the power not reaching a certain point depending on which loop (or lack thereof) was selected.

what i did was cut a little piece of circuit board and ran the power there. then off the main power feed i ran 3 polarized electrolytic caps, one for each run. then i ran wires from there to where i needed power. problem solved. took 4 hours of trial and error on another board to make sure things were right.

i have some superbrights on order, but they won't be here for awhile. so i told chris he's just gonna have to live it, i don't want to see the inside of that switcher until i have to.
