    Authentic BF faceplate?

Just picked up a '66 Princeton in really clean condition.
Everything looks stock to me except the faceplate and the grille cloth.
The faceplate is REALLY clean, and what has me a bit curious is that the "Fender Musical Instruments" under the Princeton-Amp logo is in a different font (thinner) than my '65 Princeton Reverb. Everything else looks legit. Does anyone know how to tell a repro from the real deal?
And the grille cloth is very clean, but held on with black staples.
Any idea if that was stock in '66?
I know Leo never threw anything out, but since he was gone by then I just want to see about the authenticity of these parts.
New or not, the amp sounds like the shit, even through the 40-year old Jensen.
Thanks to anyone who can help....

Some pics might hepp. Also, you might start lookin' at production codes stamped on the chassis an' tube chart, P/Ns on the transformers, an' the type of construction of the cab.

If that multi section filter can hanging near the PT is original, that will have a date code on it also.

All of the trannies have '66 codes, as does the tube chart and the Jensen. The date code on the amp chassis is '66 also.
I'll post some pics of the faceplate and see what you think.

The black staples are correct. The faceplate should be aluminum if it's original, all the repros I've seen aren't.

I've got a repro faceplate on my '66 Vibrolux Reverb and it's aluminum.

Without having to pull the faceplate off, I'm wondering if there were any markings on the back of the faceplates that might date them?
It seems they are held on just by the input jacks, front controls and the pilot light.

    That's standard.

If there's a pic, we can help more. With those silk-screening processes,
small text wasn't always printed consistently and could account for the FMIC text looking wrong.

that, of course, they are many in number; or that, after all, they are other than the little,
shriveled, meagre, hopping, though loud and troublesome, insects of the hour."

So here are the faceplate logo's.
    Princeton Reverb is a 1965, Princeton is a 1966.
My doubts about the Princeton faceplate have to do with the FMI font. It looks too thin. All of the Princeton's I have seen online look like my PR faceplate.
Tell me what you guys think.

Looks gin-you-whine to me. Panel, cloth, snowman knobs are all kosher.
