    Custom Classic Pickups

    Hey, was wondering if anyone could describe the difference of the pickups in the Fender Custom Classic "C" neck versus say a set of 57/62's. Also are the CC pu's available from fender or are they only available in guitars. Thanks.

    It seems as though certain sets of pickups are available only as OEM on some specific Fender CS models, eg: the "Robert Cray" set, the "Yngvie Malmsteen" set (though these are available direct from DiMarzio), the "Eric Johnson" set, etc.

    But careful scrutiny of Craig's List, E-vill Bay, an' other outlets may yield the set you're lookin' for.
