    Need help band drama

I know this is a long shot but some of you guys in the mid Michigan area know any drummers that is either looking for a gig or would be willing to play some fill in gigs? I just recently kicked out my drummer for being a drunk and the last person we had in here to give it a shot as a potential replacement other than not being able to keep a steady beet, for some reason thought that Seager songs where metal and he absolutely HAD to make sure he hit the bass drum as often and as fast as possible. I also think my hearing was damaged as the constant smashing of symbols still has my head ringing. Why can't people just do what there suppose to do without the substance abuse issues? Far too much time wasted and now having to deal with tryouts...

In any case here is our set list so you guys can see the type of stuff we play. Any help would be appreciated.

Did Josh get ahold of you? He used to be the drummer for MindSpeed and he's fantastic. Let me know if that doesn't work out because I've got another guy too.

Yeah he can! Have you guys played out yet? I'd like to come see you. Let me know when you'll be playing again and I'll be there! Oh yeah, and make sure you let him do a drum solo! It'll blow your mind and the crowd will love it!

I know of another one! Just get with me Del. He's in Durand though. It might be a hike for him out to your place.

    Re: Need help band drama

I went and saw Draven's band play last night with my friend on drums. They had a short night because they split the bill with some hip-hoppers (of all things!), but they kicked some serious tail! Blane is a great guitar player with some seriously nice gear! Highlights included Black Magic Woman, Monkey Wrench, Cemetary Gates and Slither. The guys played a good mix of classic and modern rock and were a tight and talented bunch. My buddy Josh seemed like a really good fit!
Love Bean ROCKS and if you get a chance to see these guys, you should! Nice job, Blane!
