    New "57/62 Thin Skins with 9.5 Radius

    I talked t osomeone at Daves anbd Wildwood and they confirmed they are awaiting delivery on the new batch of 57/62 Thin Skins with 9.5 Radius necks

    Any idea when they are supposed to get those in? I am actually looking at buying a 62 thin skin right now, but would be interested in the 9.5 radius.

    How frusterating! I just bought a '62 Thin Skin with the 7.25" a few months ago. Love it, but I would have prefered the 9.5"

    HA! Yeah, me too!

    Luckily though, I imagine they'll still have the slim 60s neck profile...I prefer a fatter U shaped neck personally.

    I've still got my Olympic white '62 (it's a lovely guitar) but I've decided to make my own using a Musikraft neck and body.

    I'll give it a thin skin nitro finish myself ;)


    BTW I ordered mine from Dave's - they were great to deal with.

    I talked with Wildwood on these. There are new thinkskins with that radius. The 62 vintage hot rod has pretty much the same thing with mj frets. The thinskin62 has 6105 frets.

    Oh yeah and a thicker satin neck vs. glossy thinner neck. Very close though on most specs
