    Backplate Silent Single Coil System

A friend of mine passed me this link: http://www.fralinpickups.com/bpssc.asp and I became very intrigued...

    Has anyone used this thing?
    Does it really work?
Is the single coil tone really kept intact?

Re: Backplate Silent Single Coil System

I heard a guy play with one of those yesterday.

Physically it's not possible to screw with an passive reactive circut, like a guitar, and not change anything.

That being said, in the casual listening environment it sounded pretty nice. I'd want to play it myself before I made any real judgements one way or another

I don't play with enough gain for regular single coils to be an issue.

If it was, I'd just plug in the kitty.
    Several guitars in different colors
    Things to make them fuzzy
    Things to make them louder
    orange picks
