    Treble Boosters

I want a boost/treble boost for my rig. Which ones can you recommend? I don't really want an EQ. Just something to give me a little more boost for solos and stuff.

I've never had a good treble booster, but I've never had the amps that they're work right for, either.

You get what you pay for.

The Bad Bob is one of my favorite pedals ever, right up there with the Fulldrive II.

If you want Bad Bob vibe for less $, build one. You might save half the price, depending on how good a shopper you are. OTOH, you gotta figure in build time, sourcing the right parts, troubleshooting, etc.

Robbie's not charging a hell of a lot for his expertise, IMHO.

I highly recommend the dual version (treble/full toggle switch) of the BYOC TriBooster with the "Full Range" cap changed from .047uf to .02uf. Thats what I did to mine and I'm loving it.

What about a Seymour Duncan Pcikup Booster. Based on the description on the website it sounds like the perfect thing I need.

    Re: Treble Boosters

The cheapest solution would be to replace the treble bypass cap on the amp. That would cost about 50 cents.Or maybe change the pots in the Tele.

that isn't gonna do anything for me though. I want to be able to have a regular sound and a boosted sound for solo's.
