Anyone on here ever had a win? Do you play the lotto?

I once had four numbers out of six on the UK Lotto and won £75.00,
about the only thing I ever won I think!!

I guess most of us will play the lotto once in a while with no real hope to strike big. Chances are very, very small, to say the least.
If and when chance take a turn on you, like this, i do believe it must be a shocking experience.

I know I'd be shocked and just imagine the GAS attack I'd have. :lol

The most I ever won was around $100 CAN, some 20 years ago, at the lotto.

When we went out to British Columbia we were playing Keno in a bar out in the wilderness and my daughter hit 6 numbers - $1500 (Canadian!)

I simply pretend that I play for 10 bucks a week and with that I win $520 American dollars each year - enough for my Fall golf outing where I can play 6 rounds of golf! The prize is great and every year I win!

I'll buy a couple of powerball tickets every once in a while. I realize that I'm considerably more likely to get struck by lightning than win, but that's still better odds than me getting rich working for a living.

Did my first trip to a casino this weekend. My fiancee lost $20 while I was "dropping some friends off at the pool."

we go to Mohegan Sun Casino a couple times a year - usually when there is a good concert in their arena (excellent acoustics and seating!). We'll have dinner (expensive) and the show (usually pretty reasonable) and bring a couple rolls of quarters each for some slot machine action.We typically pay for dinner and leave with a few bucks over what we brought with us. All in all a good time is generally had by all.
