    Aerodyne Bass?

Saw one of these last night but didn't have time to get my hands on it. Anybody tried one?

Intriguing as hell and a real beauty in person. :bug

I love the contouring of the body and feel of them, but haven't heard one. The one that I played was set up horribly, so I wasn't too anxious to try it out. I like the pup config too - P/J is a good combo imo.

I'm intrigued by them also, but I know that at least one trusted board member doesn't like them.

Oh, I dunno. I thought a denim mini and white halter would be fine. Kinda keep it simple.

It cries out for long bare legs though, don'tcha think? I may be too short to play it.

Long bare legs, short bare legs...heck, as long as they're not hairy and so long as they're attached to a female, it's all good to me.

For some reason, chick bass players are one of my weaknesses. Not terribly PC of me, I know, but what can I say? I know what I like.

    I yam what I yam.

It looks very nice. Very curvy.

I'd probably get lost if it doesnt have fret markers.

frets? who needs 'em? Just more things to get in the way and make the strings sound all rattly.

I believe the aerodyne has fret dots on the side of the neck.

I at least got to hold one of these beauties. Lite but a trifle neck heavy. Didn't have a chance to hear it as there was a plethora of dudes using up the amps.

You have my permission to use it in a song.

That will be 25 cents. Thanks. :hee

Why? Because it doesn't say "Alembic" on it.

You must not have realized that Spose is a "gear snob of the highest order".

    Pass wind?

Fretless isn't for everyone, that's for certain.

I'm sure you can play rings around me, fretted OR fretless, Spose, it wasn't meant as a putdown. I'm a mere hobbyist on that there instrument with the 4 fat strings.

4? mine only has 3. i guess i'm way out of the loop.

i must say though, i really do like the styling of those basses. i'll pass myself. and before you ask, i'm a single passive pup, two knob (both on 10) type of bass guy.
