`04, why nash route?

my USA tele 2004 has a mid pup route.......which is fine w/ me, but


.....why?

do u think they're using the same bodies on the MIM deluxe series nashvilles?

Because like the production Strats, which all have H/S/H routing these days, it must be more cost effective to route Teles for 3 p'ups knowing that some will end up as Nash's in the end. It also helps to sell more Fender pickguards and p'ups for those who want to modify their guitars.
