    Tele neck question

Is the Thinline neck the same as a solid body Tele neck?

If you are talking about a MIM 69 RI and a MIM 50's classic then I believe the necks are the same, at least they feel that way to me. I played the two side by side and ended up taking the classic home. I really wish I could have had both of them. The thinline was a really cool daphne blue color that I see is not offered any more.

    Re: Tele neck question

I'm looking for a neck for my MIM 50's Classic, and I found a nice one that is listed as coming off of a 70 reissue Thinline Tele.

It's a MIJ 1986 with 21 frets, maple neck, maple fretboard, slab style (no skunk stripe), without the micro tilt adjustment.

It is the exact style neck I'm looking for, but I don't know if the dimensions of the Thinline neck are the same, or if it will bolt on to my MIM solid body.
