I am thinking of buying a Warmoth neck and body, putting that together and having my local tech install the pickups and set up.
Isn't just a matter of screwing the neck on the body? No glue right?

No glue, but if you are going that length, you might want to build it yourself.
You also have to center the neck to the center of the bridge.
Installing pickups and doing the setup is the easy part of the project.

If you buy the neck and body already finished, putting it together will be cake. IIRC, if you buy them at the same time, Warmoth will drill the neck mounting holes for you. You'd then just bolt on the neck, install tuners, nut, bridge, and electronics.
Thanks. I was going to place the neck on a mexican strat. So the neck doesn't come with holes then?
No, they don't drill the neck when you order a neck alone, but I thought you said you were getting a Warmouth body and neck?

I was until I saw the price of the body. It seems $155 + for sunburst finish $200. Ouch
