Tried this down the road but didn't get much response (ok, none! :hee ). It looks like it's pretty interesting. Can anyone give any comments on it? Thanks in advance. :)

I have a copy.
Pros: The Gristleman's a MONSTER player, he shows you a bunch of cool licks, plus the man's a hoot. Worth it for the comedy bits alone.
Cons: No booklet or tab available, so if you're like me, you'll miss a bunch of notes, fingerings, techniques, etc because you're too busy picking your jaw off the ground.
Well worth it for the money, plus you can order it direct from the man, putting a few extra $ into his deserving pockets.

Thanks DT! Maybe I can ask Santa to put it in my stocking. :)
I'd rather watch a concert video, but I can see where a Gristleman instructional dvd would be hilarious as well as educational.

all these encouraging words - I just bought three of his books online - the mp3 clips at his album site his playing is fantastic.
Go Skip, go! :)
I've got a copy and agree with all of the above. A little more instruction on the techniques would have been nice, but overall really interesting & stirs the imagination.
