Dang! I had a '65 Strat that someone painted black w/flames on the top. When I found out the original finish was underneath, I proceeded to rub the black off using wet&dry sandpaper. It looked a lot like that when I was done.

I felt that price was fair to sell it for. It had no mute, no original case and a bad fret job. Definitely a players piece and not worth gouging someone.
