    when did us fender production restart

    Heard that they reopened USA fender factory in 86 but when exactly did the do it. heard it was 9 months before the am stand came out in the winter of 87. anyone know forsure?

    Not an exact date but as I remember it was in the late part of 86 Oct-Nov.

    found the answer in the Duchiosser strat book. they started in Dec 85....very small amounts 10 guys doing 2 dozen gutars on a good day
