Anyone try the Fender locking "deluxe" tremolo?

Anyone here ever try the Fender locking "deluxe" tremolo?

This has probably been on the market for some time, but I just found out about it.

Prior to finding out about it, I always thought that it might be interesting to put one of the original Floyds (sans fine tuners) on a Strat w/ locking tuners....

I've never tried one, but the reviews I've read have been generally unfavorable. The main comments being:

    1) Without a locking nut, it's not really a locking system.
    2) The saddles have no individual height adjustments so the only way to get rid of any buzzing spots (of which several were mentioned) is to raise the entire bridge.
    3) Lack of sustain due to its not having a block.
    4) Need to cut the ends off the strings when changing.

I've seen a number of them on eBay from people who've apparently pulled them off their guitars. Read what you will into that.
