    RS Guitarworks Strat Upgrade Kit

I have an 1987 '57 RI with Fralin VHs in it. The Fralins are about a month old now and were a noticeable improvement right away...especially in the bridge with baseplate. Will I have a noticeable improvement by upgrading the pots and caps too?

Anyone specifically try the RS Guitarworks kit?

No the pots u have as long as they are stock are CTS 250k pots.

All new pots and caps will do is make your wallett thinner.

You already have the best Strat pickups in my opinion I love the Fralins.

The Fralins are my favorites too.

If you have CTS 250k pots in there you're fine.

RS will sell you hand picked pots and a better cap as well as offer you their wiring scheme.

You can experiment with Orange Drops and Hovland Music Caps if you like. You may or may not notice a difference.

I installed an RS kit on a Les Paul and it was wonderful, but Gibsons come from the factory with pretty crappy electronics in them.

Thanks for the info fellas. The electronics are stock, aside from my new Fralins, so it looks like I'm covered.
