    Who's Into Ronnie Earl?

I have liked his music for years. He does a little bit of everything.

I like his syrupy Stratocaster tones. :)

He does a version of "I Smell Smoke"' that is hot. :bigal

Ronnie's a great guitarist. I've been into him since his days with 'Roomful of Blues'. I've seen him live about five times. He used to MC the blues festivals here at Tweeter Ctr. in MA. as well. He'd introduce the acts and usually open himself as well. One time, he did an acoustic blues set, and then introduced the main attractions: John Mayall & the Bluesbreakers, The Johnny Winter Group, and then SRV & Double Trouble; what a show! But yes, Ronnie's awesome, a great guy too.

Yeah, Ronnie is a killer player. I like his cover of Freddy King's The Stumble.

A great, underrated player and, IMO, the possessor of one of the all-time great Strat tones.

He`s one of my all time favorites. "Blues Guitar Virtuoso Live in Europe" is killer! I have about 6-8 CD`s of his and I like them all. I never get tired of listening to him.
