THWACK! The sound of a Road Trip.

Getting geared up for another 500 mile RT drive to CT for another rehearsal with Tele-Bob, Gus and The Kid (Brendan).

Last trip was interesting in that bugs were finally coming out after their long winters sleep.
Hitting my windscreen at 70mph some made quite a noise that I'd forgotten from last year.

Anyway, looking forward to a nice rehearsal followed by cleaning off the front of my truck with a putty knife.

Go 140 and the splashed bug will be a lot thinner > easier to get rid off :-)

What's the last thing that goes thru a bugs mind when it hits your windshield?

he he, it is a long trip but it just sounds so goooooooooood. Looking forward to another smooth rehearsal. I'll be cracking the whip a little on this one mind you, as we need to make a little more progress. Not so much as to take the fun out of it, but enough to at least have us sounding like a real band by the end of the day while ensuring that the songs don't all start to sound the same. It's a "groove thang".

Yeah...fer sure...starting and stopping is where it's at this time....and I think there's two more tunes from the list to cover.**

What tune was it that we faded out one at a time last time?...leaving just you playing at the final note?
Crap...I'm such a geezer...Well, Gus will remember. He remembers everything.

**Now, Bob...don't you be bashful with that whip of yours.

well, tb, just remember that not everyone is as sharp as you and absorbs or retains knowledge in the same way or at the same rate as you. all will be well. (you want to borrow my thigh-high stillettos? the outfit?)

    happy music making! *smooch*

Tele-Bob forgets things, Annie. Doncha worry. He forgets things like everybody else....
He just doesn't forget to leave his whip home!
