    hey jim shine..

    can you tell me the specific differences betwwen fender necks a,b,c,and d? im looking to make only educated purchases from now on,and i need your help. if anyone else can help with this info it will be greatly appreciated.

    A 1 1/2"
    B 1 5/8"
    C 1 11/16"
    D 1 3/4"

    I think this is right, at least in vintage neck size widths. Somebody correct me if I have missed one of these. I like the C necks best but B was the standard in the pre CBS guitars. :60burst
