$3 million violin left on train

    ARTICLE

I heard these old violins can be worth a bundle but I didn't imagine they were being taken on the road and actually being used. I sure this guy is thankful his violin was revovered!

I wonder if it actually belonged to him. Aren't a lot of those violins owned by corporations?

My question is how can you be so vacant as to forget the $3 million violin. It seems as though that would be the one thing you hold on tightly to.

I suspect that if anyone on this forum was traveling with, oh let's say a 53 Tele, or a 54 Strat, or maybe a 59 Les Paul, that we'd all keep a tight grip on it. To hell with the suitcases. If anyone of the afore mentioned instruments found its way to my possession I'd have it handcuffed to my wrist on a trip.

Maybe he thought it was only worth 2 million.
