    got a neat tip saturday

the owner of the bar we played at had a welcome home party for his son, who was back from baghdad on r&r. at the end of the night he gaze each of us a stack of iraqi dinars in various denominations. pretty cool, huh? spoils of war, baby!

    not really

actually i could care less, just thought it was a cool gesture.

we're playing another welcome home party for a bunch of G.I.'s this weekend. kinda gives ya' a warm fuzzy, even though most of these kids have pretty atrocious taste in music.

At a New Year's gig (95), the owner presented each of the four band members with a bottle of champagne. They were all empties long before the night was over. ;)
