Monster or Planet Waves?

Is there a major difference between these two?My sons got Planet Waves for Christmas and I can tell a difference between those and Horizon,but someone told me they liked the Monster cables better.

Check my reply in the other post here on cable selection. I think often people spend too much time thinking about this then is really needed. Perform a double blind test if you don't believe me (where neither the guitar player or the person administering the test knows which cable is which). I don't think you will be able to tell the difference near as much as you think you can.

Thanks for your replies.You are probably right bzimm,I doubt I would know the difference.....but you know you get things in your head....I will try the blind test.

There was a high-end cable shootout earlier this year in Vintage Guitar which was pretty informative if you can find it.

I like the Planet Waves 20'. I find they do not coil up on stage as much as some others.

As previous posters say, in a blind test, I doubt many of us could tell the difference.
