Had a great night out yesterday, it was GK's annual birthday bash gig, and you can just imagine how that went.
Thank God for good friends who know how to have fun and make me laugh.

Asshole client paid me. I was very proud of myself. He had been trying to wheedle his way over here so that we could 'discuss' the amount of the payment.
I kept putting him off. Finally, I got a bill for my property taxes and I needed the money. I saw him on line and told him I needed to talk to him. He said he was headed to a meeting and would call me when he got out.
So he calls me from the car:
Him: Hi, sooooooo what's up?
Me: I need to get paid. My taxes are due.
Him: Um...okaaaaaay...how about we...
Me: No. I don't want to do this negotiating thing. You must have a price in mind that you're willing to pay me. Just tell me what it is.
Him: Oh....that's very direct.
Me: I'm not kidding, I don't have time for this.
So then he mentions a figure. It was $500 more than I was willing to settle for. But I said, "PERFECT."
I sent the bill and got the money a week later.
