If you need a good picture of a Surf Green Strat, try and find a copy of last years Frontline Magazine. Page 38 has one. I will try to scan and post the photo.

Thanks for the info Bri, but I don't even know that magazine, never mind know how to find it. I would greatly appreciate it if you could scan it and post it or email it to me.

    XO,

Next time you re at a Fender dealer just ask for one, they are free.

The Frontline is the official magazine of Fender products. Get one, you will enjoy looking at it.

If you don't have a Fender dealer close, email me and I will send you one.

    Tim C. :)

    Service with a smile!

It's a self-promotion rag, but great pictures, and a pretty good starting point for getting to know the products.

It's last years Frontline that has the Surf Green Strat on page 38. Tinted Maple neck too! There is a Chrome Strat. on the cover of that issue..

I will still try and post a photo for you when my son has a chance.

Wow, the depths of my idiocy sometimes astounds me!!!!!!

Oh, you mean a FRONTLINE magazine, like the one sitting here on my desk, within easy reach that I picked up at GC last week.

    Uhhhh, duuuuhhhh, mmmfmfffffththh . . .

I never looked at the name of the thing. I just thought it was a Fender catalog. And, yes, it is very nice marketing. Gibson could learn a thing or two. It is the 2002, but it has a surf green on page 73. Unfortunately, it does not even list seafoam green as an available color.

Thank you for the education to this somewhat "slow" learner.

XO, I have both sitting right here, and the 2002 pg 78 one is almost more like a daphne blue. The 2001 pg 38 is a great example of surf green like brian said
