does anyone else's Strat have this quality?

I was doing some final adjustments tonight on my setup and afterwards my Strat took on an interesting quality. Tonight, instead of having the bridge tight to the body, I decided to block the trem with it raised off the body about 3/32's. Then tightened the claw all the way down til it couldnt go anymore.
My strat has a 'reverb' type quality now. Very strange, but very cool.
    Anyone else ever experience this?

That's the springs resonating, they do that moreso when you stretch them out.:nelson

I had Louis make that adjustment for me (blocked and tightened). I really like the way that it sounds and how you don't have to compete with the springs when bending. :)

take a small cotton cloth and wrap it around the springs. This will eliminate the reverb sound.
