I'm No Longer a Pedal Virgin

Bought my first pedal today, an Ibanez bass chorus.

Snagged it off eBay for $31.

Have no idea how to use it, but it's gonna be fun messing with it.
I've been giging with blues/rock band and doing quite a few trio tunes. Maybe it will help and add something to the mix.

If not, I'll just sell it on eBay!

Ok, I got the chorus pedal in the mail today.

Plugged it into my little practice Minx and started fiddling with it.

How the hell do I use it? And what kinds of songs is it good for?

I also popped my cherry. I just bought a Boss chorus pedal. It's the first pedal I've owned. I had previously had a chorus amp & I love that sound. My new amp has no chorus, so I finally sprung for a pedal.

    me too (maybe)

after 44+ years I'm STILL playing it clean -- ie: no stomp boxes! -- only use a hint of reverb, and occassionally some vibrato.

Got a Boss AC-2 Acoustic Simulator but taught myself how to achieve a "dry" acoustic sound using 'technique' and a 'large wide pick' before it got unwraped, so it's STILL sitting in its' box.

Chorus sound interesting though, especially for solo guitars.
