A couple of recent things -

I recently picked up a nice strat, and just got a Tele -

I had a Baja Tele previously, but the neck was huge. Just got this one, a little more manageable, but we will see. I was trying to find a donor body to attach an early Warmoth neck with a lotta flame. Hoping to have that soon enough. This one might pan out without that thought - again - we will see.

The strat - well lets just leave that one alone and play it. Its just fine the way it is!!

    Thanks Chief!

I found that the previous owner of the tele took out the S1 - added a callaham bridge/saddles ........and for some reason added vintage style locking tuners. I'm not sure about them........ and haven't changed the strings yet.
The neck is so much more manageable than the previous one I had. he left the 4 pos switch in.......for now, it will stay. The knobs he replaced have a much more aggressive feel - easy to grip, not that I ever had a problem with them, but have never had any quite like these.

Did the Tele come with a case?

No, these came with a standard dlx gigbag, which I did not get.

I understand that some of these came out of the box with AY initial'd pups - but I doubt this is one of them.

Take a peek "under the hood" the next time you change strings.

Those are both nice! Hope to see some pics also!
I have gone through a few Tele's, and installed the 4 way switch on some, including the 2 I still have. I am not a "real" guitar player, but that "other" position is great for a hack like me playing chords while singing!
