Donald Duck Dunn, Lakland, and Fender P

My lunchtime video viewing. Thought of Laker because the last bass Duck played was a Lakland P model.

Duck's son takes us through a few of his father's basses. Thought you all might enjoy this one.

I remember playing what I think was a Duck Dunn prototype in the “playroom” at the old Lakland facility on Dominick Street in Chicago. At the beginning of our band’s festival season I’d bring my 55-94 in for Carl Pedigo to check it over and, while waiting, you could grab a bass and try it on several available amps that were set up. I do remember trying the Jerry Scheff signature model.

I can't think of Lakland basses without you coming to mind, Laker.
Wish I'd bought one when I had the dosh.
