    1954 Stratocaster - I could not resist!

    Hi folks,

    ok, to be honest, it's not an original 1954, but it's very close!

    It's a 1954 Heavy Relic Remake, called "Fender Custom Shop 60th Anniversary 1954-2014 Stratocaster".

    It feels and sounds absolutely awesome!

    Looks like the critical details are correct for a 1954 reproduction Strat -- miniskirt knobs, football switch tip, rounded bakelite pickup covers, PATENT PENDING saddles, Telecaster-style string tree with phillips screw retainer. For years Fender neglected these visuals as they cranked out re-issue after re-issue. Good to see that they finally got it right.
