I had a deep respect and admiration for her.

    Yes.
In the concept of the World Stage, she handled and projected herself well. Much much better than most the others.

Her Majesty's a pretty nice girl, but she doesn't have much to say...

Not a fan of the 'royals' so this news is neither saddening nor surprising.

Me neither, but she was a distinguished woman (her mother maybe even more).

I remember watching her coronation back in 1953. R.I.P.

Nor am I. As I heard one person put it, "We kicked their asses twice and saved their asses three times." Still, I think Elizabeth's regal hand kept the two countries allied when weaker hands might have faltered.

Possibly, but IMO her lasting legacy is the total dismantling of the British Empire which has rendered the UK as "trailer trash" among the world's other super powers. The royals now have little to no impact upon the world stage and even domestically cannot seem to preserve the traditional Anglican ethos.

I agree with the historical facts you mentioned but IMHO, she wasn’t to be blamed at all.
