    California power shortages

Ha Ha, the communist republic of California is now suggesting that electric vehicle owners not charge their cars due to a lack of electric power. Let go Brandon! lol.

No -- it's pretty clear that 'woke' hysteria and PC dogma has overwhelmed your mental faculties.

I can remember when we couldn't by gas every day. And when the speed limit was dropped to save gas.

    So, nothing is perfect.

We're a federated republic where states have rights. Judging by how many people choose to live in California they must have popular laws.

At least women can still have the right to choose in California. I'd rate that a lot higher than electric cars, and BTW, Baddass Brandon has been kicking ass and taking names lately.

Funny you bring up Carter to compare to Biden, both cut from the same cloth, and both ran up the debt, and strangled our domestic energy producers.
If California is stupid enough to believe they can rely on other states to cover their electric needs while they throw money at windmills and solar panel virtue signaling, they deserve what they get!
Seems I read that some of their governor's relatives moved to Florida, and contribute to DeSantis' campaign.

My sister and her husband among them. They now call Daytona Beach home.

Who will fund California's gravy train for immigrants once all of the Americans have left?

Clay and Buck mentioned that on their radio program this past week. It was the Governer's parent's in law. Carter wasn't a buffoon, just wrong. Biden is both (or whomever is actually calling the shots behind the scenes).

We found out here in Texas during the 2020 winter freeze that solar and wind power aren't reliable baseline generation sources. I have nothing against them, but we are a long way from not being dependent on fossil fuels for transportation and electricity generation. Any state/country that tries to transition too quickly will ruin their economy when businesses move out or the costs are too high to produce a competitive product.

Geez, I have two nuclear power plants located within 20 miles of home and only one is being used at a fraction of its capability.

I've always had a V8 of some sort, although my current one, (5.8L), isn't as pretty (or as fast) as the one's you've shown here. (I'll bet it can haul more though!)

Roger, the '66 I had, (360 HP) would fill the whole intersection with smoke when you power braked it! I sold the body, and put the engine in a 60 Chevrolet Carry-All. We were the first to the top of the pass going to the lake, but had to fall behind and downshift to let the brakes cool coming down the mountain!
